I used alcohol inks and blending solution to cover the base of the card. I printed off the Deco Follies digi stamp and coloured with pro markers and sakura gel pens. Mounted it on gold mirri board and centred on the card. Added a few punched butterflies and peel offs.
Thank you for looking ...

Spring card - I made this for another challenge and also for my step daughter's birthday
Hope you like it ... I made this while it was snowing so roll on Spring !!
The card is totally digital. Everything came off my puter. The butterfly was made slightly larger to the one printed on the background. I stuck it on top and attached with sticky tags. I heat embossed is 3 times to make it nice n shiny. The sentiment was put on with safmat.

Baby Wipe card ... lol
The card on the left - the background to the butterfly was made with a baby wipe. Just fold your bw into 4 and put drops of ink along one folded edge with reinkers or whatever inks you have ... I didnt have reinkers so used alcohol inks) and smear the edge of your bw across your card. I then stamped the butterfly and coloured with sakura gel pens. Matted onto white cs which had been embossed on cuttlebug. Added a bit of stickles and punched my corners.
The card on the right - was printed from a My Craft Studio cd, the corners were punched and then I sponged with color box and distress ink around the edge of the base card. Printed off a sentiment and layered on top.

Ssshhhh..... it s a secret
This is Hubby's Valentine Card finished it today so now I can hide it heheheee
Gatefold card on white cs. Silver mirri board at the back. 3 square apertures to the right front. Red mirri board and a peel off to the left hand side. Mounted three cuttlebug hearts in the apertures made with nestability. I then covered those hearts with some shrink plastic hearts that I made and glittered to add more of a 3D affect in the apertures. There is also one at the top right of the card. Stamped I Love You message.

My Design for Digi Stamp Challenge at Crafty Cardmakers
This is my first Design Team Card that I have made for Crafty Cardmakers. The design they chose was Digital Stamps.
I downloaded the digi stamp from Fred She Said Designs and layered together. Fixed the digi stamp to white cs which I had previously scored twice and placed green cs between the score lines. Printed off a sentiment from Word and layered this onto mirri board and matching green cs. Added some gems !! Rounded my corners with a corner punch.
Hope you like it ......

Shrink hearts - Valentine on overload
I wanted to make some phone/purse charms and also some embellishments for hubby's valentine card so reached for a nestability heart and cut some out on shrinkies paper (clear)
Punched a hole in the ones for the charms and stamped with versamark. Covered them on one side in embossing powder and heated with heat gun. With them being clear the embossing powder shows through on both sides.
Made quite a few charms and then a few more without the punched hole for the valentine card....
Here they are ....

altered tin notebook
So here I am still on the theme of notebooks or notepads whatever you want to call them.
I bought a few of the tin notebooks in the january sales, you know the sort they have a thin metal cover usually a gold colour, but very flat and bland ...
So I decided to try and jazz one of them up. I used Adirondak Alcohol Inks and a blender mixed up my inks and began to podge all over until I had the desired effect.
Left the inks to dry which didnt take long just a few minutes. Then stuck on the butterfly embellishment and a gem ...
Certainly looks brighter than when I bought it ..... lol

I made a note pad today for a change ideal for by the phone or in your bag
I didnt feel like making any cards today so I went into the world of notepads.
Never made one before so it was full of disasters but I got there in the end.
The outer part (front and back) is made from strong card which I scored to one edge so the notebook would open better.
The papers inside were cut a little bit smaller. I stamped a tree on the front mainly because it was the first stamp I found ... lol I stamped with versamark and then embossed with gold sparkle embossing powder. I stamped it onto a bit of lighter card and used a Martha Stewart punch for a bit of further decoration then stuck it onto the strong card. I added a bit of ribbon and was quite pleased with the result. Punched the holes for the ribbon of course .........

Double edged gift tags with a spellbinder middle
Well I couldnt get motivated today to do any cards
I have started to design some notebooks and have been playing with ideas
but they are not ready to show yet ... lol
Then I got fed up with that and decided to try and do some double edging on the cuttlebug.
I needed to make a couple of tags for a birthday present.
I cut out the tag with some home made embossing card - do you know how to make that ? I can put some instructions up later on if anyone is interested.
Anyway I cut out a scalloped cirle and left the cut out in the die, then got a smaller sixed circle and laid it on top of the die still in the original die cut and by using a tan mat embossed the smaller cirle inside so as to make a double edge. I then cut an even smaller circle out for the middle of the tag and this time did the embossing with part of a spellbinder stencil.
The end result is here and was rather pretty I thought .....

How to make a Tri Fold Card
Cindy has asked about making the Tri fold cards .... I love those tri fold cards and on my slide show you will see I made a black and white polka dot one ... I have given you a link here which will show you how to make the tri fold card with thanks to SCS ..
The card itself is quite easy to make - it is all the decorating you have to do to the card, but you make it as fancy as you want you dont have to go to great lengths if you dont want to... if you do, it doesnt have to be done all in one day .. take your time and enjoy !!

Tri-fold Card
Saturday, 23 January 2010
I printed the back panel of this card from a Joanna Sheen Royal Horticultural Society cd and then edged it with distress inks. Layered it onto a sparkly black panel. Stamped a butterfly scene onto acetate and stuck this to a sheet of rainbow glitter card. Punched out the heart shape of the butterfly scene and then some flower shapes from the glitter card.. Made the fairy with my Cricut and Scal2 and embossed with melt dust. Stamped the thanks message with Versamark and then coloured over with mica powders and added peel off butterflies.
